Newport Beach CERT Foundation
The Newport Beach CERT Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit organization that depends on your generosity to fund programs that engage our volunteers in community events, nonprofit activities, and real-world emergency response exercises.
Since 1999, the Newport Beach CERT program has trained more than 3,000 community members in disaster preparedness, response, and resilience — making it one of the largest and most established programs of its kind in the country. Today, more than 400 active CERT volunteers stand ready to support our community when it matters most.
We are always working to train new volunteer responders while expanding our capability to meet a growing variety of community needs. That means equipping our team with the tools, gear, and training resources required to respond effectively to whatever comes next.
All CERT training is delivered by Newport Beach firefighters, lifeguards, and subject matter experts who donate countless hours each year in support of our mission.
